PET SHOP BOYS - ELECTRIC LIVE IN JAKARTA 2013

So... I married the best husband in the world... you know? hahahahahah. Not only because he bought me this ticket. He's just awesome like that.

Pet Shop Boys is one of my many influence on music, their era kinda affect the fashion i belong i. But hey, they existed for almost 3 decades. So you can guess my age ... :'( I love their easy fun music and funny, sarcastic lyrics. I just think both Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe are frikkin genius.

I don't take lots of pic but I did record LOTS OF VIDEOS!!! hahahahah, and when i playback... i could hear myself singing and screaming.... soooo embarrassing! The videos was actually for my hubby to watch but ehhhhh mission aborted.

They sang "Memories of the Future", which i find a very romantic song OMG...

I Wouldn't Normally Do This Kind of Thing

I went to the concert alone, but hubby dropped me by the venue. I have no problem watching it alone. I really want to watch them perform and enjoy the music. I'm a big fan, just like that. The venue isn't really crowded and packed with middle-aged cool people... hahahaha. My kind of concert, I'm not into posers ;p Lot's of familiar faces but somehow I'm not in the mood of chit-chat...

Long story short, PSB delivers AWESOME stage act, kudos! In their age they can keep up with the beats and those visual on their stage? Beyond superb! Seriously, any VJ's should watch it. No editing on these pics. All pictures taken by iPhone 5.

They also bring two funny dancers (a guy and a girl) wearing costume and stuff. I just think it's the fun and quirky part of PSB, moving on from their used-to-be-gay-ish performance. Well it never bothers me anyways. British, gays, made best musics (Morrissey, hello?)

The crowd screams on "Suburbia" of course... the song is timeless and fun to sing along, felt like I'm running around my neighborhood and chased by dogs (?) They sang half of their new song from Electric album (the first album since they signed off from Parlophone and make their own record label) and half of their well-known hits. Everybody's happy.

The best stage act: Love Etc. They stand behind a box and shot by projector, showing a moving body on a bed, and their face peeking from a hole as if it's their body. I don't know how to upload videos to blog... shame on me.

Domino Dancing

They sang "Always On My Mind" for closing. I just wanna cry...wishing my hubby is there with me. It's our song circa 2007 hehehe... so you could guess who sang the loudest :D That's just the most perfect closing. But they sang Go West and Vocal as their encore. Well done, sir!

Before I entered the venue, I got interviewed by NET TV - iLook program on streetwear section. About what i wear, and I haven't seen the program actually :D if any of you see it can you please tell me?
