Second Collection of 2010 : "1979"

This is my 2nd collection for Bittra & Starr called 1979, created around late 2010.  Clearly, it's inspired by the seventies when Hippie era is happening. But the number 1979 itself, actually, ahem, is our anniversary date. 19-07-09. Oh, well, lets forget about that for a while... aaa hem. Anyways....

You can see from the mood board Sonny made: lots of overflowing apparel, simple cut with light fabric, and fun prints to wear. You know hippies do a lot of traveling, anything they wear has to be cool and comfy at the same time. Flower generation they said, but here we're implementing FUN as you can tell from our accessories galore.. yippie!

We never thought that our accessories line would be a quite big thing! Really, the response is great, thank you everyone! You see, we love love love love colors and prints. We dare to mix everything up. Hey, why not?

One of our apparel best seller is the circle tee above. In any color I made, they always sold out. Thank you for the love :) I promise I won't disappoint you guys. I always pick the most soft material with great quality without make it overpriced. And I agree.. circle tee is THAT comfy!

Both skull bracelet and necklaces are a knock out too.. best seller! Yes can I type here that I design it.. *wink wink*

Nostalgic Memories - March 2012

I remember i wrote veeerryyyy longgggggg already for this post but stupid me and my slooowww internet connections, didn't save it to drafts. Oh crap. So I refuse to remember what i wrote back then..sob. 


This is the latest collection I made for 2012, called "NOSTALGIC MEMORIES" why? I kept some memories in my mind, and hope for it to stay forever. Just like I want this design to be. To be remembered and kept in every girl's heart and closet. 


This collection, my 5th, made in a rush, my first collection ever as i become a mom. Omg u have no idea how hard it is to keep in track between being a mom, a daughter, a secretary (for my dad), a wife, and an entrepreneur at the same time. Stockists has been asking where is the new collection, while I'm trying to be professional and handle (almost) everything by myself.


This time not much jewelry because my husband, the accessories designer, is now busy between 2 job and have no time to do the design or even shop the materials. But he still do the photography and editing. I can't thank him enough, for all his patience and mind-reading!

In My Life.

First attempt on blogging on 2012, from my iphone. Ha! Let's see how it goes..


Just a small post remembering when, where and what i've been trough.


Life has been great for me, as now i already have a baby.. Her name is Cettarani Savanna Kandara (baby Sava). She gets my full time and attention for now and I could barely have my own me-time. But it's ok. Always worth it.


Deep in my heart I miss blogging. Started around 2005 but i lost everything inside it! (crapppp) and start again around 2008 I guess.


Too lazy to post as I really enjoy my life lately (thank God).


Recap for whatever been in my life for the past 3 years...


~ I went to another college to take a certificate in Fashion Business from LaSalle College International, Jakarta.


~ I get married with my soulmate in 2009. He have blogs too but it was closed down hahahahah


~ We lived in Bali for almost 2 years. Work, and have the best time of our lives there. I'm dying to have that kind of life again. Someday we will.


~ Got pregnant, and gave birth to the prettiest baby Savanna. The best gift God could ever possibly give. Family is my jewels.


~ Running own my own label since 2010, team up with hubby. He's the best partner. I design the clothes and he design the accessories. Struggling with it until now, and want to make it big. Why not?


That's just a small recap of what's happening in my life. Promise you to blog often by March.. As now I'm preparing my new collection for the end of this month. And my worker is driving me nuts.

A Gift

Hey, it's been a while since my last post. i know i'm a bad blogger. just want to say that i'm thrilled to say this news..... I'm 2 months pregnant :) :) :)


i keep having this nausea and mood swing (well, d'oh !) and bad appetite... makes me do less work because of it. not blaming the baby (oh, no!) i just cant think nor feel as best as i used to. so i chose to have a rest for about 4 months by the pregnancy..hope the baby inside grow healthy...and keep business/money aside...


i;m still working on my new collection, though. due on April (crossing fingers), and it's called "STRANGELOVE" . why? will explain on other post ;)


we're moving from bali to jakarta by march and will start a new life in april. In between january and february, our life is really a chaos, splattered around here and there, and we're still picking up the pieces.


ok then...hope you all well...me, myself, really feel blessed. thanks for all the prayers...even my husband is speechless...oh he's a great husband and i couldn't ask for more
