Re-Vamp my Pastel Mood

Yo! I was quite busy last January, helping my friend doing wardrobes for 3 TVC in a row.. pheeewwww... yes so tired but happy but missing my child... But you gotta do what you gotta do aiiiteee... If i have the pic of the works I'll post it later ok..

Now I'm taking a rest from freelancing to be with Sava and my family more.. and to gain one of my resolution in 2013... I'm doing yoga this whole month. Ha! Just a small fitness club near my house, not much members inside but damn guurrlll that yoga exercise is getting all the sweat outta me!! Looks easy really but I almost fall in ever move as I can't keep my balance and not that elastic.. I'm practicing!

Now I'm working on the new collection due on late April hopefully.. (crossing fingers) For accessories both me and Sonny will do some hunting... because Jakarta is not as fun and easy as Bali.. then will send the materials to our beloved worker in Bali. I also want to try to do an 1979 print on t-shirt with a little help of a new friend from Bandung. I'm trying to focused here but somehow there's a lot of distractions and internal problems.. Oh well just be glad and always feel blessed for everything.

I'm in the mood of pastel colors.. With a touch ow black n white stripes. This is the kind of mood I'm having for the new collection, and I'm working on the stories behind it ...

Working Days Circa 2007 - JSL Company

Circa 2007 I worked at a children wear garment, PT JSL. The company owns the well-known brand like COOL, COOLbaby, popeye, spongebob, the simpsons.. lots of licensed character for children wear. I worked as a designer first then assistant merchandiser. I only lasted about 9 months O guess ;p Another proof that I am not made for 9-5 working. I can't commit to be an early riser!



I drive by myself from bintaro - Serpong via highway. With my lovely pink floyd-RIP. But actually, I always love the journey coz I was going backwards. While other people are heading to Jakarta's traffic every morning and afternoon, I am heading the other way. The traffic is never crowd and it's a whole different street to explore. BSD was quite new at that time. Very clean, passing nice houses... Even though they're not as great as Jakarta.



Here I found my most comfy and fun co-worker to be with. There are Hens, Nana, Coki, Steve, Renny, Otis, Mbak Ida, Wahyu.. It's like we have our own little world. Just to make ourself belongs there, as we always felt left out. We do fun stuff, joking our own humor, wearing uniforms, lunch at secret spots, do photos... We even went travel together to Bali.






Among all I'm still keeping in touch with Hens. Hens is one of the ultimate Gemini person I know. He have a twin brother (gemini sign is a twin), not good with map (that's soooo meeeee), a metal head but drop dead fan of WESTLIFE (he wear the t-shirt to NKOTB concert..betrayer), loves all satanic stuffs like tees print, action figures, devilish lyrics but don't under estimate his religious side. He never left his 5 times prayers or such.. Prove that metal heads isn't always a satan devotee.. or sort. He's really funny and always mocking me all the time.
You can tell by the way he edited our pics... hahahahah lol

To be honest, this kind of office mates and fun times we had, makes me kinda miss working at offices. But then I think again... no... I don't think I'll be a 9-5 employee again :D I can't get up early, I can't stand traffic, I get bored easily, and I just want to be with my baby so much. I can earn money from home or being a freelancer. I don't wanna be greedy, I'm pursuing my own career and that's enough :)

Random Sense

Got this sudden urge to type random stuff about me.. hahaha

1. I am coffee. Not is that "I like coffee". I think coffee is my blood, really. I can't imagine passing days without even a cup. I'm not me without coffee.

2. I love purple, since I can't even remember. Now people always relate me to any purple stuff hahaha why? Pink is the second one, that I used to hate.

3. I love chocolate coz I'm a sweet tooth. Any snacks I can't resist. I love to munch. Chomp chomp chomp. always have room for desserts.

4. I don't smoke and I don't like beer. But hey other liquors will do :)))))))

5. True Gemini.

6. I love playing games. My iPhone, Nintendo NDS is tortured. 

7. Lots of people think I'm trapped in my childhood years. I still love cartoons and play around a lot even though now I already have a daughter. But you know what, it keeps me young at heart. I don't complain much as I really enjoy my life, what I do, and stuff. The key is just to be happy and accept whatever condition you're in. Happy-Go-Lucky ;)

8. Art is my way to escape. Normal life seriously kills me inside. 

9. I used to love reading and writing but now I barely have the time.. Blogging is my writing escape.

10. Slowly but surely wants to master graphic design and photography for the sake of 1979. I want to be the one-man-show. Be a little bit musical won't hurt.

That's not all but that's what I can think about right now.
